Pictures from the Tannenberg reinstallation
in the newly completed visitors center of
Historic Old Salem, NC
March 18 & 19, 2004

Thanks to Wyett Colclasure for these great pictures from the reinstallation in Old Salem, NC!!

The organ was lovingly restored by Taylor & Boody to its original appearance. The many layers of paint were cleaned away so that they could determine the original light cream color with the tower shade gilding. Notice also the black band around the bottom of the pipes with the unusual molding. The black color helped hide the toes of the tower pipes as well as make the molding stand out more prominently.
